Michael P. Price
MICHAEL PRICE is now in his 37th year as Executive Director of Goodspeed Musicals. He is the founder of The League of Historic Theatres and served as its first president. Michael is the recipient of honorary doctorates in fine arts, honoris causa, from Connecticut College and the University of Hartford. He has a B.A. from Michigan State, an M.A. from Minnesota, and an M.F.A. from Yale. He is also a recipient of the State of Connecticut Arts Award for service to the arts. He is chairman of the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism; serves as the Treasurer of the American Theatre Wing and is a member of the Tony Management Committee. Of the 16 Goodspeed productions sent to Broadway, 15 were first produced at Goodspeed by Michael. He is married to Jo-Ann Nevas and is the proud father of Daniel and Rebecca.
