JEF EVANS (Theater Mitu, Associate Artist) projects include the original score for Arabian Nights by Roger Bennington (Tooth and Nail Theater/Rose Wagner Center), percussion for The Hamantashen Monologues, Rain Dance and Ishtar Unmasked all by Amichai Lau-Lavie (Storahtelling/The New Schul), and drummer for the band Action Daddy (2003 to 2004). Along with traditional/modern/alternative rock and jazz, he has studied the drumming styles of Middle Eastern, African and Indian Raga percussion. Jef also designs and creates some of his own instruments. He is a founding member of Theater Mitu.
