FAITH STEWART-GORDON Born in Spartanburg, SC. Graduated from Northwestern University as a drama major and joined New Faces of 1952. On Broadway, she was in the cast of Ondine with Audrey Hepburn and appeared in the movie One Potato Two Potato with Barbara Barrie. She continued acting until husband Sydney Kaye died in 1967, then took over operation of The Russian Tea Room and ran it for 29 years. She has written three books, including The Russian Tea Room, A Love Story. She has one daughter, Ellen Kaye, and grandson Ian Tsang, 12. Ellen, a singer soon to appear for the third time at Iridium, is also head of banqueting for the Smith and Wollensky Restaurant Group in Manhattan. She lives in NYC and in Bridgewater, CT with partner Helen Brann, Literary Agent. Besides ATW, Faith is on the Board of The Hale Matthews Foundation and is currently working for Hillary Clinton's re-election to the senate. Other interests are literature, history, theatre, dogs, tennis, and travel.
