Chris Jaehnig
CHRIS JAEHNIG is the Production Director of the NYU Tisch School of the Arts Drama Department. From 2006 until 2009 he was the Interim Artistic Director for the Drama Department. He has an MFA from the Yale School of Drama and a BA (in Theatre and Drama) from the University of Wisconsin. Along with Kitty Leech and Gregg Barnes, he founded the Technical Production Track in 1988. In addition to teaching the Drafting and AutoCAD class for Tech Track, he has been responsible for the historical component of the department's Introduction to Theatre Production (ITP) course. He produces all of the Department's Mainstage Productions and advises most of the other Drama Department productions. Currently he is consulting for the performing arts spaces in the new NYU Abu Ahabi Campus. He has consulted on several Off-Off Broadway Theatres and Project Managed for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Fourth of July Fireworks.
